A must do!! We went on the 4 hour morning shelling tour with Captain Jason and it was absolutely amazing! Captain Jason was wonderful about answering my questions prior to booking since this was our first shelling trip and I wasn’t sure what to expect. We started early and made our way to Shell Island right before sunrise, where we were the first and only boat there when we arrived. Jason was very informative about where and what to look for while shelling. The group all went on their own ways to find their treasures (I appreciated we didn’t need to stay together). Captain Jason made his way around to all the clients to check to see what they were finding and made sure they were having a good time. We spent about 2 hours on Shell Island and then made our way to Kice Island where again Captain Jason explained the best places to look for shells. When we were done shelling, Jason shared some knowledge on dolphins and then took us to go see some (also known as dolpriends). Captain Jason has water on board and well as extra shelling bags (we needed one!). We found so many shells and such a large variety. I brought home way more than I expected to find and wondering who is going to clean them all…. And thanks to Captain Jason I am now a member of the “J” club!! My first whole Junonia was found on Shell Island! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Had a fabulous trip with Capt Jason! We made stops at 3 different islands all with different types of shells. The dolphins showed up on our way in and he knew exactly how to get them chasing along in the waves behind us for a long time. So much fun and I think the most excited person on the boat may have been Jason! He loves what he does! His experience and knowledge make for a very special experience. Highly recommend Everwater tours! Looking forward to going out again next week!
Tyler was our captain for the 4 hour excursion. He met us at the appropriate time and location, gave us a run down of what to expect and off we went. Oh, he also sent a photo via text about a half hour before our arrival so we knew who to be looking for. We were give a safety review and then off to find our shells. Shelling is different every time you go out, so it is exciting to see what each person is able to find. He took us to “shell island” and that was amazing. Tyler definitely knew the water and was able to share his knowledge. We plan to return again in the future.
My husband and I booked a shelling tour with Jason and Christina and we had zero regrets. They were both incredibly kind and knowledgeable about where to go and what you could find. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip, the sights we saw, the shells we found, and the entire experience! The dolphins that chased our surf so close to the boat on our way back were an added bonus. Will definitely be booking another trip with them!
Captain Jason is so great! He’s so friendly and knowledgeable. He really helped us find the best shells. He’s accommodating and always kept us safe. We saw dolphins as well, which was super cool. And pruny hands are a sign of a good day.
