I would like to sincerely thank HCA Hospital for the excellent care I received during my delivery. The hospital was clean, well-organized, and professional. The doctors and nurses were kind, attentive, and very supportive. They regularly checked on me and my baby and explained everything clearly. I felt safe and well cared for throughout my stay. I would especially like to thank Nurse Nancy for her kindness, patience, and support during my labor and delivery. Her care truly made a difference for me. Thank you to the entire medical team and staff at HCA Hospital.
The only two positive things I can say about this experience was the lady who was working the entrance of the ER and the two gentleman from the cat scan area and the transport to the cat scan. My mother in law was bought in on Friday night and the care I witnessed given to her was horrible. If anyone asks I will tell them to go anywhere else in Houston if you can. If I would have known that this was going to be her experience I would have never allowed her to go. We were being treated as if we bothering the employees , we only asked for one thing, help with the restroom. She had been bleeding profusely and didn’t want to spread it around the ER so we asked if we could get assistance or guidance for what they would like us to do. The only response we got from the gentleman in the nurses station was we will get you a nurse. We waited and waited but of course she couldn’t hold it any longer and helped walk her bleeding and all to the bathroom. As we were passing the nurses station they just watched and could see that blood was clearing coming down her legs but nope. At the moment of her discharge I had to ask for any type of diapers or pads to help clean her up and make it semi dry to take her home. I wasn’t asking them to clean her up I was doing it myself as I know she was already embarrassed and uncomfortable. This has just left a terrible feeling in my stomach for anyone who has to deal with this hospital.
Only chose one star because it's required. I was drove to this hospital by ambulance for sepsis/early on set appendicitis. Once I entered the ER on ambulance bed, I was forced into a wheelchair & placed in the waiting room. I was never checked in, then after waiting for one hour in the waiting ER area (along with my family continuous calling to complain), I had to lay on the floor from pain, security stood over me & stated "You can't be crunched over on the floor, it's against hospital policy." I had no one to help me back in the wheelchair (meaning I had to pull myself back into the wheelchair while battling appendicitis at that time). Once back in the wheelchair, the front desk receptionist said because my family had called so much within that hour, they would take back to the bay where the ambulance originally had me (ER triage area which was basically a hallway with a sheet cover for privacy). I sat in triage for three hours without being seen. One nurse came to take my blood pressure and then left me there (no pain medicine, fluids, IV, nothing was done). I obviously could not drive in my condition and this hospital did not give a damn. My family came from Bastrop to take me to the methodist hospital (100 times better). If you can, DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL!!! My appendix nearly burst waiting for care here.
My wife was admitted for a cesarean section on January 7, 2026. However, I was surprised that when the time came to deliver the baby, the nurses began the natural labor process without Dr. Nichole Ogojiaku being present. Half an hour before the delivery, the patient's family had been told to inform the doctor so that she could attend the birth. Dr. Nichole Ogojiaku was contacted, and the nurse said she was on her way. I then went out and stood by the room door, waiting for her. When the doctor arrived, my son was waiting with me. I told my son to tell her that his mother was in that room. The doctor shook her head and walked away. According to her, she went to see another patient, knowing full well that my wife was in labor; she left her to her own devices while the nurses carried on.At that point, the nurse had delivered half of the baby when my wife’s legs closed over the infant, prompting her to call the doctor. The baby was suffocating and sustained a fractured collarbone. Fortunately, the nurse responsible for postnatal care was there; she rushed over, pulled the baby out, and performed manual resuscitation until my daughter revived. It was then the doctor’s turn to take the baby, place her on her mother’s chest, and cut the umbilical cord.I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the postnatal care nurse who single-handedly saved both my wife and daughter from the immense danger they faced. Unfortunately, neither the hospital nor the doctor is taking responsibility. They put my wife and daughter at risk, resulting in the baby's fractured collarbone. I will be taking legal action to file a lawsuit for the danger and fear they caused my wife and daughter, as well as the baby's collarbone fracture and suffocation during childbirth. Therefore, I do not recommend giving birth at this hospital, as there is no responsible staff who cares about people's lives
Hello—my experience was absolutely excellent. I received the very best care, even though I only stayed for two days. The nurses were top-exselent my first day right up until the day I left. From my admission to my discharge, the service was excellent—everything was superb. Thank you very much.
