WARNING: DO NOT GO TO HOUSTON MEDICAL CLINIC! I am writing this to warn the community and potential patients about the life-altering injury I suffered at Houston Medical Clinic. I came here in March 2025 for minor neck and shoulder pain following a car accident. What was supposed to be a recovery process turned into a physical nightmare due to the extreme negligence of a therapist named Mary. In May/June, during a session, Mary performed a reckless and violent maneuver, forcibly pushing both of my knees backward. I screamed in excruciating pain, but she dismissively told me I was being "too delicate." Since that moment, my right leg has been severely damaged. I was unable to walk, confined to bed for two days, and forced to use crutches and a walker just to move. The medical consequences have been devastating. My knee swelled like a balloon. Despite steroid injections and heavy pain medication, the agony persisted. A subsequent MRI confirmed extensive and complex ligament tears in my right knee, and I now require surgery to repair the damage Mary caused. When I confronted the management at Houston Medical Clinic, they shamelessly hid behind the fact that there are no cameras in the treatment rooms, heartlessly asking, "Do you have proof?" Their lack of professional ethics and basic humanity is appalling. Please, protect yourself and your family. Stay away from this clinic. What happened to me was a major medical malpractice incident caused by their staff's incompetence. Do not risk your mobility or your health with these people. UPDATE (Response to Owner’s deceptive reply): My Google nickname may not match your medical records, but the MRI confirming the large complex medial meniscus tear caused by Mary is 100% real. I have the printed treatment logs from your clinic, which clearly state the dates and Mary’s name as the therapist—it’s all there in black and white. Whether Mary was fired or 'no longer works there' doesn't change the fact that your clinic collected $2,500 from my PIP insurance for a treatment that resulted in a permanent injury. Since you claim to be 'concerned,' please know that I am moving forward with formal complaints to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) and the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners regarding this medical malpractice and the $2,500 fee. My upcoming knee surgery this April is the direct result of the damage done at your facility.
