Took my ill wife to there emergency room. Was greeted, signed in and only waited 5 minutes in waiting room. Taken to back area, within 10 minutes, her vitals were checked by very nice staff. 5 minutes later a very concerning young Dr. Arrived. Introducing himself as Dr. Daniel Cox. He was absolutely awesome. He spent time questioning my wife's symptoms. Showing all fine quality of a well trained physician. Maybe an ivy leager? He was great and we were grateful. After cat scan the wait was 3 hrs. And this was to be expected to to new patients arriving for treatment. Also noticed how this Hospital has some of the most professional security staff . We felt safe. For a small Hospital, they did a great job. Especially from my Wife Esther and me, Thank you Memorial Hermann for your professional Medical, and security staff. May 3rd 2026.
This hospital killed my sister!!! They misdiagnosed her and placed her in ICU telling me to place her in hospice. I told dr Moodley to take her off heavy sedation and she might wake up. This doctor got upset with me but did it anyway asking for my POA ( Power of Attorney) and when I showed it the POA I had was rejected. They wouldn’t let me make decisions that were safe but wanted to experiment on her. There were scars on her hands and wrists…blisters on her hands and wrists. After placing the PEG tube in her a few days ago( I refused it) and discovered yesterday my sister vomited up her food and her heart stopped!! I can’t stop crying. They wanted to discharge her a few days before she died and now this. The doctors and nurses are incompetent and neglectful and always on their cell phones. Because of her state I asked for constant monitoring, a tv monitor be left in her room and her door to remain open. They did not do it and I’m left with the hurt and pain!!!
Just had a procedure done. My cardiologist and his team were/are amazing. Everything pre-op went great. But my stay at the hospital for 2 days were a joke. The rooms are shared. There is no peace or quiet to recover. There is zero privacy and family members can’t stay with their loved ones. Nurses speak about you in their language to other nurses while standing in front of you, while sleeping at night they blast you with the overhead lights without any regard, you call them and they take forever to come help you. The nurses assistants treated me better and with more kindness than the nurses and doctors. The doctors saw me once for 2 minutes. Will never go there again.
Memorial Hermann Southeast played a critical role in saving my mom’s life, and our family is incredibly grateful for the care she received there. My mom was transferred there from a rehabilitation facility after experiencing a medical emergency while at a rehabilitation center. The team acted quickly and immediately placed her on life support. The ICU nurses were beyond amazing. They took incredible care of her and kept our family informed. Nurse Dani and Nurse Ye provided extraordinary care and compassion during one of the most frightening times of our lives. After several weeks in the ICU, she was moved to a regular room on Floor 1, where most of the nurses provided great care. There was one instance where a nurse on floor 1 was not as attentive and did not recognize that my mom was becoming unresponsive after we expressed concerns. My mom took a turn for the worse and was moved to Floor 2, though the transition was not clearly communicated with floor 2. Thankfully, Nurse Ben and another outstanding nurse on Floor 2 immediately recognized that my mom needed urgent attention. A team of nurses and doctors responded quickly, stabilized her, and transferred her back to the ICU, where she was placed on life support again. Once again, the ICU team provided exceptional care and helped bring her to a full recovery. When she was finally ready to transition to rehabilitation, the hospital made sure everything was in place to ensure a safe transfer and that she would have what she needed. This hospital showed compassion, urgency, and professionalism throughout her stay. We are forever grateful to the nurses and doctors who cared for my mom and treated her with dignity. I would absolutely recommend Memorial Hermann Southeast.
I had my baby here. All the nurses were great. I was in labor for a whole 24 hours at least and the nurses had to constantly keep checking my monitor for the baby he liked to move around on them. When he finally did make his debut he was full of fluid and wasn’t breathing. The team of nurses for the babies acted very fast and saved him. I’m so thankful for them. The Postpartum unit was very good too. Sali was my nurse during the day and she is 10 out of 10. So sweet and caring.
