10/10 recommend! I’m an out-of-state college student who needed a PCP in the state of Texas, and because of the proximity to Rice campus was recommended here and I cannot be more grateful! The staff were incredibly helpful and supportive, and any questions I had they were happy to answer and help with! This was also the smoothest I’ve ever had my blood drawn at a doctor’s office, and the entire time the doctor was making sure that I was okay and felt safe and comfortable! I also expressed the desire to be set up with a female doctor and they didn’t hesitate to do so!

This was a very disappointing experience. Unfortunately, the doctor (Maxwell McCray,Jr.,DO and his assistant ) would not even look at me while speaking, which made me feel even more anxious. During the visit, there was not even a basic physical examination. I repeatedly explained that I was in pain and wanted to discuss possible tests and treatments, but I was simply told that they did not think they were necessary. What was even more frustrating was that when I asked what might be causing my pain, the answer was simply, “I don’t know.” Before my blood work, I was asked whether I wanted certain additional tests, and I clearly said no because I did not feel they were necessary and did not want to pay for them. However, those tests were performed anyway. At the end of the appointment, after I complained that my back pain had not even received a basic examination, the doctor spent about five minutes doing a quick check and then left. Overall, I left feeling ignored, unheard, and disappointed. I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously, and I would not recommend this experience to others.

Love the environment in this place very organized very quick to get you in to see the doctor. Like the fact that you can get a next day appointment. The times I’ve been here the girls in the front have always greeted me in a very nice friendly matter. Super clean as well. I always have a good experience here

This was my first visit,and I had a very good experience. The appointment started on time and I had no waiting at all. Everything was well organized. The doctor listened to me patiently and carefully. Thank you

Dr. Altman is the BEST doctor I've ever had. He is concerned, patient, thorough, caring and extremely professional. He takes his time, he gives advice to prevent illnesses and encourages his patients to communicate openly. M.J. Harris
