I did some research on places to eat when in West Palm Beach and this restaurant was recommended on every article that I read. The Uber dropped me off on the side street, and I will honest although I had studied the menu I still had not decided on what I wanted to order. Apparently where the Uber dropped me was the close to the kitchen because I smelled fish frying and I immediately knew I had to have fried fish. This dish pictured did not disappoint. It was soooo tasty. No additional seasoning required but I did ask for the restaurant Serrano sauce and all that did was elevate and already exceptional dish. My server Yonri was attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and he contributed positively to the overall positive service. The drink i ordered was the Bahama Mama it was delicious and refreshing and just was needed. I visited on Fathers day as a solo diner and as the restaurant got busier the level of service that I received maintained from beginning to end. I highly recommend visiting here. They are also on Uber eats and doordash.
We really loved our experience at Don Ramon, the food was really good compared to other Cuban restaurants we have been too. The ribeye steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection, the music isn’t too loud either so you can talk and listen to it. Our waiter was really accommodating and helpful and the atmosphere overall was very nice, we will be coming back
Went for the first time yesterday for the Lunch special and it was fantastic. I had the garlic shrimp with maduros, black beans and rice. It was all flavorful and perfectly tempered. For around 15 dollars, it was a reasonable portion of food that was all delicious. I had a Ernest Hemingway frozen cocktail, and my friends had mojitos. All balanced and very yummy! We split the tres leches as well, and again, it was perfect! If you hate dry or overly soggy trees leches then you'll love theirs, it has a meringue topping which was delicious too. You can tell it's made in house which is a rarity these days. Overall we had a great time here and I'll definitely be back again!
Cool atmosphere, a lot of character. Service was excellent and everykne very friendly. Unfortunately went to a late lunch, 3pm, the flavor was excellent but the meat was dry. I am sure if we went earlier the meat would have been perfect but at 3pm you are at the tail end of lunch batch of meat, pork, and before dinner batch. Definately going to return during prime hours because the flavour was excellent.
This restaurant is my very Cuban family’s go to for Cuban food when in West Palm Beach. The portions are filling and reasonable. The price is very acceptable for the amazing quality. I had a glass of sangria which was amazing. The server was attentive but gave us enough space to enjoy the company and food. I recommend making a reservation to be seated right away but even without one I’m sure you could get one after a short wait. Overall, we will keep coming back whenever we’re back to West Palm.
