Room had an odour I would describe as embedded cigarette smoke as if in the wall. Obviously it is now a non smoking venue. And the room was refurbished. But the odour was noticeable to me unless it was from somehing else that smells similar.
If you need a place in Bendigo this is it. Hotel was excellent, any worries or concerns I had they fixed right away. Room was clean had everything you needed, bathroom had all the essentials you need. Coffee downstairs was good, special shoutout to the staff for playing Good Charlotte all weekend for the concert I as a fan really appreciated that. And every staff member I spoke to was friendly, would definitely stay here again :)
Fantastic place to stay, with restaurant and coffee available on ground floor. Staff are so helpful & nice which only enhances your experience. Across the road is Lake Weerona with a track around it, approx. 1.4km, for some atmosphere and exercise. Highly recommend & this is my go to accommodation in Bendigo.
Fabulous hotel with great service, can't speak highly enough of the staff, friendly efficient and welcoming! We had a suite and was incredibly generous and spacious. Perfect view of the lake. Restaurant is excellent and again top service. Thoughly recommend staying here.
Really lovely room and friendly professional staff. Our room was huge, decent sized balcony and all of the room inclusions you’d expect. There is a charge for the bottled water but it is very clearly labeled so not a sneaky added charge. Our room was absolutely lovely. Check in and check out was fast and easy, and the location of the hotel was perfect. Not in the noisy central part of Bendigo but only a short walk if that’s where you need to be. Being right across from the lake was perfect for an early morning walk before we left.
