I just got canceled for a 3rd time in a row. We are paying $32.00 a month for customer priority service. All we wanted was an annual check up for our ac unit we purchased from Brothers. We have given up 3 Saturdays only to get a call and cancel. They bug you to death with robo calls and when you do get an appointment set up they cancel. They offer no compensation for the time you give up for them. We have been with Brothers for years, but they have gone completely down hill. I will find some one who trustworthy and dependable. I should have my $32.00 a month refunded for the past year. NICE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!!!!!!!.
Overall, I am not completely satisfied with the service provided. Prior to this project, we used Heating Air Brothers for a plumbing repair and were very satisfied with the work and customer service we received. That positive experience is the reason we chose to move forward with this company for our HVAC system replacement. We paid over $20,000 for what I understood to be a complete HVAC system replacement, including the ductwork. During the project, I had several concerns and requested a final walkthrough with management for peace of mind and to ensure everything had been completed as promised. Unfortunately, I never received a response to that request. A few months later, I happened to go into the attic and discovered that sections of the ductwork had not been replaced despite my understanding that I had paid for a full system installation. Had a final walkthrough been conducted, this issue likely would have been identified and addressed before the project was considered complete. The equipment itself appears to be functioning well, but the lack of communication and follow-up, combined with the discovery of incomplete ductwork, has left me disappointed with the overall experience. I chose this company based on a previous positive experience and expected the same level of attention and professionalism throughout this much larger project but unfortunately this was not the case.
I had my HVAC installed at the end of November so, thankfully it's still under warranty because today the thermostat went blank (no power) and the system quit working. When I noticed the room temp rising, I called in at about 2pm and was told someone would be out to get it running by 6pm. When it got nearly 6pm, I found an email (not a CALL!) that said someone would be out TOMORROW between 8-12 "because of high volumes! NOT good enough for a new unit on the hottest day of the year so far! I called after hours @ 6pm and was told someone would return my call tonight. I hope that happens because it is miserable in my house! Now, over 24 hours later, 5-6 phone calls and 4 emails later...crickets. They have been totally and completely unresponsive! The call center is manned by folks that can only give bs , scripted answers and have compounded the issue with assurances that they know are lies. Evidently, Brothers is, passively, NOT going to honor their 1 year warranty they like to brag about? We're still sweltering in unhealthy inside temps and they couldn't care less. Honestly, I have had nothing but lies and broken promises since they installed the unit last November. They have no integrity, no honesty, no customer service and don't deserve anyones' business! Steer clear of Brothers!!! Update- 6/13/26: I contacted Bob King, Quality Assurance Manager. Bob got a technician (John) out to service the unit and he got the heat pump running. He spent 1 1/2 hours, didn't find a cause but got cool air flowing in an 87° house. This morning, AGAIN, the thermostat has no power, the unit isn't running and we're gonna' broil again today! Brothers just can't seem to do their job Update: after insisting on emergency service, the technician found a wire that, apparently, had been chewed by a rodent and was the root cause. Great job by the tech to find it! This will likely be the last time I deal with Brothers because of their horrendous communication with each other and their customers!
Miserable customer experience, zero stars if possible. Gave us a 4 hour window to show up, no one showed up and then they said they'd reschedule for a full month later. After arguing with them to come the next day, which they agreed to, they provided a window for 8 am to 12 PM EST. At 1:47 PM EST, nearly 2 hours after their 4 hour window, they called to tell me they'd be taking an hour long lunch break and then would come over. Seriously? Complete joke of a company. Don't waste your time.
My elderly parents contacted Brothers HVAC for repairs to a system originally installed by them. The company stated that a part had been ordered and scheduled a technician for June 29, 2026. No technician arrived. Multiple attempts to reach a live representative were unsuccessful, with only automated responses provided. This occurred during an extreme heatwave in North Carolina, and due to medical concerns, their home became unsafe to remain in. They were forced to purchase a temporary room air conditioner and stay in a hotel while waiting for the repair. We are sharing this experience to inform others and hope the company will address the situation promptly and improve communication with customers.
