So happy we booked- best day of our vacation. Ray was great on communication- comfortable boat..we only had 4 passengers, but still the cost was not much more than if we went with one of the larger tour boats. Not sure why anyone with a group of 5 or 6 would ever consider not hiring Ray. In addition to Dolphins and Manatees, first time we saw large pelican groups in trees.
We have gone on 3 dolphin cruises with Captain Ray and are planning another in March. When we have visitors to the area we always book a cruise and it is the highlight of the trip. Captain Ray is an excellent guide and is fun and personable too. He obviously loves the ocean, Fort Myers and the dolphins - he even has names for some of them! I highly recommend Island Runner dolphin cruises!
We took a 4 hour dolphin watching tour with our kids and parents with Captain Ray and enjoyed every minute of it. Cap Ray took us around all of the great spots, dropped us off for lunch at Doc Ford's...which was a total treat and waited while we enjoyed our food over looking the beautiful water front views. Tour continued after lunch and we took dozens of pictures of dolphins and sea rays swinging around our boat. We found Cap Ray to be very professional, respectful and courteous. We highly recommend this tour if you are in the Fort Myers ares.
Stellar trip with Island Runner Tours! The Captain Ray and his 1st mate were amazing! Kid friendly!!! They worked hard to help the kiddos fish along with finding some incredible dolphin sightings! 10/10! We will be back!
Fun last minute back bay fishing with Capt Ray. Well equipped boat. Captain with situational awareness put us in right spots to catch snook, redfish, and snapper. Lots of laughs. Thank you for a fun morning.
