My experience with Men's Law Firm was disappointing. During my consultation, Mr. Irwin made my case seem straightforward and gave me confidence that moving forward would not be a problem. Based on that conversation, I paid a substantial retainer fee. However, after payment, my case was handed off to a younger associate. After requesting extensive documentation, I was eventually told that the case could not proceed because of issues that, in my opinion, should have been identified before I was asked to pay thousands of dollars. What bothered me most was not that the case could not proceed—it was that the attorney who earned my trust during the consultation disappeared from the process entirely. After I paid, I never spoke with him again. The experience felt similar to meeting with a renowned surgeon who assures you that your operation is routine, earns your confidence, and then, after you've paid and placed your hopes in that professional, you discover that someone else you've never met is now evaluating your case and informing you that the procedure cannot even be performed. I understand that legal matters are complex and that outcomes cannot be guaranteed. However, clients deserve a thorough and honest evaluation before being asked to commit significant money. My advice to anyone considering this firm: make sure you know who will actually be handling your case, whether the case has been fully reviewed before you pay a retainer, and what potential obstacles could prevent the case from moving forward. Harley Brook and Jessica Lopez combined to make a powerful, professional team that guided me through every step of the difficult process of a long-term divorce.
