Great experience with Mike’s! My husband and I have gone a couple times now. We’ve done the tandem Kayak rental on our own and the Hobie Pedal Kayak Guided Eco Tour. Highly recommend trying the tour, Doug was a great guide and customized the experience based on what we wanted to do, more chill or more adventurous. This location has a great route - we saw dolphins and manatees!
Mike was a great tour guide, so knowledgeable about wildlife, mangroves, and the history of Florida. We initially booked a glassbottom tandem kayak (for my 72 year old parents) and a single for me (47 year old). When we arrived, Mike’s dad warned us about the glass bottom kayak, instead suggesting a tandem Hobie (pedal kayaks) for my parents and a single Hobie kayak for me. GREAT suggestion!! Thank goodness because not sure my parents would have had a good time otherwise. We weren’t able to see any wildlife but nothing anyone can control. Was a great time and highly suggest the company!!
We had such a great day with the kayaks from here! Everyone was so sweet and kind! We were happily welcomed by Mike and Aiden. They gave us the perfect map to find all of the beautiful spots! We felt so grounded as we paddled through the mangroves and had so many experiences with nature! If you want to rent kayaks, and paddle boards, this is the place! We will definitely be coming back again! Thank you Aidan & Mike!
Highly recommend. Super kind guy. Easy to find location. Everything was ready for our group of 7 when we showed up. He was organized, explained the routes well and had a huge smile on his face. We saw dolphins and got to see the mangroves, beaches and float in the water way!!! Be ready to be sore the next day!!!
We had an amazing experience on Mike’s kayaking tour with a large ladies group, and it could not have gone better. Mike and Doug were fantastic guides: knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about what they do. They shared so much insight about the local ecosystem and took the time to show us sea life we never would have noticed on our own, including starfish, sea urchins, jellyfish, baby crustaceans, conch, and even dolphins swimming nearby. It felt educational, relaxing, and fun all at the same time. They were great at managing a bigger group while still making the experience feel personal and engaging. I would highly recommend Mike’s kayaking tour to anyone looking for a memorable and unique outdoor adventure.
