I visited Pompeii right after the quarantena ended and tourism had not yet begun. The city was eerily lovely in the silence of the afternoon, just me and the birds visiting that day! But the best part was my tour guide Raffaele, who has a Ph.D. in archaeology and knows the intricacies of the place like the back of his hand. He spoke about Pompeii with such knowledge and love that the city came alive for me...it was like we had stepped back in time and were shopping in the bakeries and drinking in the bars, stopping to chat in the main square while the carts laden with goods rolled up the hill from the sea. I am so so glad to have met you Raf, because you made my experience into an unforgettable memory. Thank you for this day!

Our guide Raffaele was wonderful, he welcomed my sister and I at the gate and spent 3 amazing hours taking us to all of Pompeii's highlights and some brilliant secret gems that we never would have found on our own. The whole time teaching us about the ruins, which he was so passionate about and had personally studied for years. He was able to tailor our tour to our own personal interests and was at all times very mindful and accommodating of my mobility issues. Our organiser Francesca was great, and even assisted us on our morning train route from Naples. We learnt so much and had an overall wonderful experience, my sister and I could not recommend it more.

One of the best tours we ever had, and we travel a lot. Raffaele was informative, fun and kept our attention alive for the entire walking tour in the narrow alleys and streets of Napoli. He manages to transpire love for this amazing city and you end up loving the place too. Absolutely recommended, an excellent guide with a very good English, that is something rare around. Not to miss in Napoli, it was our best experience.

Our guide Raffaele was absolutely wonderful. He tailored our tour to our own personal interests and his expert knowledge of Pompeii, showing us all the highlights of these beautiful ruins as well as the hidden gems I'm positive we would have never even found without him. I learned so much and fully recomend booking a tour!

We took this tour as a virtual experience during lockdown. Raffaele was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his home city and introduced us to the archaeology and history of Naples. His descriptions and explanations of the origins of Naples were delivered in fluent English . I hadnt really appreciated just how fascinating Naples is, and we are now determined to visit as soon as we can, and engage such a professional guide.
