The pharmacist failed to mention my Rx needed to be refrigerated when I picked it up. Two days later when I went to open the box I noticed the label. I immediately called the store and after 45 minutes of waiting and speaking to 3 people the pharmacist agreed that he would swap it out. I arrived 5 minutes later only for him to change his mind since the box was partially opened but the pills were not. This leads me to believe he was going to restock the medication and give it to another patient instead of discarding it. Why does it matter if it was opened but not consumed since it should be discarded? Then he argued they gave me addition info on the Rx and then did not. Then he stated they did tell me it should have been refrigerated when he previously admitted they didn't tell me. His constant backpedaling and switch ups were crazy. He then proceeded to initiate a screaming match and put the blame on me, stating I should have asked if the medication should have been refrigerated upon pick it up. He took no accountability for his staff failing to mention that. This is the most unprofessional encounter I have ever experienced. Every other mediation I have picked up in the last decade that is temperature sensitive I was told upon pickup. It is the pharmacist's responsibility, not the patient's. I left without my original Rx since it was unsafe to use due to their negligence or getting a new one. I immediate disputed the charge citing fraud and received an immediate refund (mind you, this Rx was over $100). I also put in a complaint with their corporate office and got my Rx refilled. That man has no business being in this industry with how careless him and his staff are. If he is this combative with a customer, I can't imagine how terrible he is to his staff behind closed doors. He is the most repulsive individual I have ever encountered. I will never step foot in a Walgreens ever again.
The woman working at the photo section has a hostile attitude. When I tried to use the computer to print out my baby’s passport photo, it asked for an administrator password. When I informed her about the situation, she gave me a look as if I had insulted her entire family and said there was nothing she could do. She mumbled something about the system being full. Immediately after, I left and went to another nearby Walgreens, where I encountered the same issue, but the employee there resolved it quickly and was very helpful.
I've been a walgreens customer for 10 years. Sadly, they wouldn't return a duplicated prescription the cost $30 device not even used brand new in the box, not my fault at the time i didn't know and thought it was something else but it was the same instrument and did not need, i tried calling corprate number they said it was alright to return but store manager and regional denied, so sad customer service is not there anymore, they could of at least offered a store credit. But now you just lost a faitfull and good customer, will share to friends. Joining your competitors.
Called a total of 6 times today, equivalent to almost an hour of wait time. The pharmacy would answer, ask what i need then hang up. I eventually got to a point where I wanted to speak to a manager and when I finally got one they went to check and hung up too. This is the second time this is happened at this Walgreens. It is safe to say I will never give them my time again.
It took over 50 minutes for them to process and fill 3 cars medications in the drive thru. I came to the window at 130 and they refused my service and told me to wait until they reopened at 2. They need to get a new system, employees, or manager in place to be able to handle properly processing and filling prescriptions. I refuse to wait in a line for my already filled and ready for pickup prescription for 75 minutes.
