It was a last-minute decision to have dinner at the Terrace, but there was room for us, even though we didn't book earlier. It was stormy outside and inside awas lovely and cozy. The staff was very attentive, and there was enough room between tables to not overhear everyone else. The meal was exceptional. The gnocchi and chicken breast with lemon risotto, was delicious. The portion sizes very generous. We shared the decadent chocolate dessert- Oh my goodness - amazing! Complements to the chef.

Magnificent service ,the minute we arrived we were seated and asked for drink preference which arrived in a timely manner . Helen was our manager on the night and so knowledgeable on the various wines etc as well as food recommendations. We enjoyed the complimentary bread prior to the arrival of meals ,they were both magnificent I had the beef rib ,best I’ve tasted in Tassie and I live here so …..my lady had the pork croquettes and thought them a little bland but nothing that the sauce didn’t fix .All in all very happy ,and always remember to ask the waiter / waitress what they recommend as it can make the difference between great and magnificent.

The staff were exceptional and the meal was outstanding. All the staff at front of house and kitchen are very good at what they do and make you feel as if you are the only one in the restaurant. I cannot recommend the Terrace highly enough. Thankyou to all for a wonderful evening.

Very nice steak dinner. Seasoning and accompaniments high quality. Slight criticism; the porterhouse was cooked Med-well not Medium. The desert had a fantastic presentation and was very delicious..restaurant is a little dated.

Lovely venue. Spacious table layout. Service excellent. Food was amazing. Delicious salt and pepper squid. Lemon posset for desert was divine. Loved it.
