Favourite place for duck breast so far. Crisp and juicy, with a nice acidity from the minced beetroot and apple. The flavours are clear and tasty, service is pleasant, and the atmosphere is vibrant with a full view of the finishing kitchen and chefs working. Will come back.

Fantastic lunch today. Truly a 5 star experience. Attentive and welcoming service, great menu choice. Fine dining does describe the cuisine. Would recommend without reservations.

This was the second time I visited Le Foyer. The last experience was absolutely amazing, food was great, service was good, absolutely enjoyed the duck breasts and seasonal greens, even the steak was perfectly cooked. Hence why when my mom visited me in town from overseas, I thought I had to take her here. The service was standard, nothing unpleasant or impressive. The steak was covered with too much sauce, same as my duck breast. Both were way too salty to enjoy the taste of the meat. The sauce of duck breast was poured by waitress that without even asking me. I ended up had to eat it on another plate as it was way too salty. The pinenuts on seasonal greens were a bit stale and the green beans tasted bitter. We almost left 2/3 plate untouched. I was going to give my feedback when someone asked me how was everything. Unfortunately, no one asked. For nearly $450 dinner, We were pretty disappointed. (I gave 3 ⭐️ as last time was really good)

Had such a great lunch at Le Foyer in Bendigo. The steak tartare was beautifully presented and tasted just as good as it looked, and the duck was honestly ah-mazing. Service was friendly and spot on the whole time. Can’t wait to go back!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at La Foyer, and I must say, the transformation from its previous French cuisine to the current menu is nothing short of remarkable! The quality of the food has significantly improved. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. We were particularly impressed with the steak night, which was a standout. The steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and full of rich flavor—definitely a hit! Our experience was further enhanced by our waitress, Taiya, who provided outstanding service. She was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. Her warm demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of our meal. Overall, La Foyer has elevated its dining experience, and we are excited to return. If you're looking for a great meal in a welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend checking it out!
