Dave and Veronica were the best guides EVER! They were genuinely interested in making our experience the best experience for our whole family! They knew all the little secrets how to make our shelling experience fun! They were incredibly knowledgeable and personable! We had an amazing 6 hour shelling tour with Captain Jamie! She's extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. She helped us find so many shells, was really easy to talk to, and generally just a pleasure to be around. We found so many shells and had the best day.
Incredible experience with Sand Dollar Boat Tours from our first call to our going out with Captain Paul! We worked with co-owner Anat Kuperman who asked us great questions to learn what our goals were and built our tour from that. From Captain Paul's truly personalized greeting to all the sites he showed us and stories he told, we had a great time. He showed us through the inlets of Naples Bay, Port Royal, Royal Shores and Aqualane Shores, sharing stories, history, points of interest, and nature. He gave us information about the landscape and wildlife, pointing out manatees and dolphins, taking us to follow several who were playing together, and had answers for our many questions about the area, the history, and the sights. Later that day we were having dinner on the bay and saw the Tiki Boat - they were definitely having a great time! I highly recommend their tours.
Our tour to Keewaydin with Captain Paul was wonderful! Leaving the dock, he provided history on the area and pointed out specific landmarks. The ride to the island was comfortable and peaceful. Thanks to Captain Paul, I was finally able to get a picture of an iguana.✔️ We enjoyed our shelling time on the island. On the way back, several bird species were observed, and the dolphins swimming and splashing beside the boat were a bonus. We will definitely be rebooking more tours when we return to Marco Island. We had a perfect tour yesterday! The shells were plentiful—my husband also found 2 sand dollars! Our tour guide, Captain Megan, was just wonderful— knowledgeable, engaging, and extremely pleasant! Her expertise on the wildlife such as the osprey and their babies, the pelicans, and of course, the dolphins was expansive. In addition to shelling, we had at least three different sightings of dolphins frolicking and swimming boat side. Megan was able to sense our enthusiasm and made our experience with the dolphins and everything else yesterday, very special. We had a delightful day, you will too!
