Awesome folks at Central Carolina Air! My experience began with Tyler coming out and evaluatedy system. He found an 18 year old Trane XR13. I had no problems at this time. However, Tyler did find irregular amp/draw on a couple of the condenser's components. He also found both blower and condenser motors were leaking oil from seals that had given up the ghost. The system was on antiquated refrigerant. Technology has moved on from our current system. We set up an appointment with Tim to discuss options for a new system. Tim came out the next day. He had options and numbers that were competitive and easy to understand. My wife and I decided on a new Movair Heat Pump system. Orlando and Kevin came on time with new equipment. They both worked diligently and made it happen. Kevin also plumbed my hybrid hot water heaters's condensate and pressure relief valve to a gutter downspout. Orlando found a non working light socket in the crawl space. He discovered the socket was not powered due to a GFCI receptacle that had gone bad. Orlando gladly replaced the GFCI receptacle and ensured the light socket was powered for a new bulb. Customer service like this is almost unheard of now a days. I had called 3 companies. Central Carolina was the only one that followed through and kept their word. Also, everyone reading this take care of your credit rating and credit worthiness. The financing rate was less than NCSECU rates. You never know when you may have to purchase new equipment. Replacing parts on the 18 year old system was not an answer for me. I am glad I bought a brand new system with a 10 year parts and labor warranty. Give Central Carolina a call. You will be glad you did!
I received a text with my technician name and pictured and eta. Loved this! He was very prompt and wasted no time in diagnosing the issue and repair cost. He repaired the issue and encouraged me to sign up for a service contract explaining the benefits in detail. I signed up! Justin was great!

Brian arrived at 6:00 am on a hot Saturday morning to see what was wrong with our AC. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem with parts he had on his truck. He also took time to show me some age issues that indicated it may be time to replace the whole heat pump system.
My AC unit stopped so I called Central Carolina Air, they were very polite on the phone and got a tech sent out within a few hours. The tech was professional and diagnosed a problem with the AC disconnect box, which he quoted $1059.00 To replace. I opted for a second opinion and called an electrician. They looked at the box and told me the disconnect was not seated properly. When it was put in properly, the unit kicked on and has been running fine. The electrician went over the box and said it was fine, no need to replace it. So Central Carolina Air Conditioning quoted a repair of over $1000.00 that was unnecessary. In addition, the tech that looked at the box did not reinsert the disconnect properly. I would highly recommend that you stay away from Central Carolina Air Conditioning.
