As a funeral director from out of state, working with Shikany's has been an exemplary experience. I have used their services for my own father and when I need assistance in the Naples/Bonita Springs area, Bill Shikany is always my first call.
Bill Shikany took everything off our shoulders and by listening with patience and grace to five of us brought out our stories and wrote a beautiful tribute to my husband. Bill did everything possible to make his Memorial Service something that would have made him proud and was so beautiful for all of us. At a time so sad, he made everything easy for us.
I was very disappointed. I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to get answers. I couldn’t get nobody to return phone calls. Everything got pushed back then the announcement was never sent out to the day of the funeral then to have the birthdate wrong on the stone. what a stressful time for the wrong time to have it.
Bill was very empathetic and comforting as my son and I made arrangements for my husband.
Mr. Shikany was a big help for me losing my husband after a brief illness. He and his team were professional and available for any questions that I had. They were very compassionate and accommodating for all my needs. I am a geriatric nurse and would call Mr. Shikany when one of my residents would pass and he has shown dedication and kindness for my 22 years at the Assisted Living I was managing.
