Nick and Dylan are very reputable businessmen and provide what they promise. We had a minor dispute with the company. When we explained our issue, they were very reasonable and handle it in a very professional manner. There are many disreputable and fly-by-night solar panel companies out there. Source Energy is certainly NOT one of them. I highly recommend them for all your solar panel needs.

** Hurricane Milton update ** When we installed our solar system, memories of more than 3 days with no power after hurricane Ian convinced us that we needed a battery backup system alongside our solar array. Now, after hurricane Milton, our decision has proven to be the right one. We still had power when we went to sleep the night Milton made landfall and when we woke up the following morning, the power was on. We later learned from neighbors that the power had been out from midnight until 5am. We had no idea that the power had gone out because our batteries had taken over and kept our A/C, fridge, clocks, chargers, everything running as if nothing has happened. I checked the app for our inverter and confirmed that we were running on batteries for 5 hours before power was restored (with 75% charge remaining). The system worked so seamlessly that we hadn't even known there was a power outage, and by the middle of the day, we were generating excess electricity that was being sent back into the grid. Thanks again Source Energy. We couldn't be happier with how our system performed through the storm. ** End of update ** It's been just short of one year since Source Energy did our solar install and we couldn't be happier. I met Dylan when he gave a presentation on going solar at our community's clubhouse and after getting a quote from him and several other local solar companies, it was clear that Source Energy's proposal was the best combination of both equipment and value for us. Their install team was fantastic. The building inspector even complimented their work. Dylan and Nick are quick to respond whenever we have questions and the support teams from the equipment vendors they use are great too (like walking me through how to best manage my battery system to ensure maximum availability now that hurricane season is here). We've produced more electricity than we've used every month since the system was installed, except for one very cloudy month when we had to draw on the excess power we had banked with FPL earlier in the year. Going solar with Source Energy was a great experience all around. I highly recommend them.

Dylan was absolutely wonderful to work with. We needed a repair completed on our roof and he coordinated with our roofer to get the solar panels handled and communicated clearly and directly from the moment we got in touch! Thank you. I’d definitely recommend their crews.
