When my daughter was diagnosed with ASD, this place gave me hope and made an excellent impact in my daughters life. The staff are very professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and very good with the kids. If you want your kids to get the best therapy, and improve, this is the best place to go.

Our speech therapist has been here for a short period but we wanted to share our experience. Deanna Walsh is an amazing speech therapist. At 10 months my son didn’t speak, didn’t mimic, no babbling and I just felt like something was going on. I saw a few doctors and most were like don’t worry, we will circle back in a few months. As his mom I couldn’t wait a few months, so I continued going to speech therapist and other doctors to see if anything was going on. By chance I got to see Deanna and she changed our life. Deanna found that my son had a lip and tongue tie. After getting her diagnosis I actually went to see 3 other doctors who all confirmed that yes he had a tongue tie. After researching and then talking and prepping with Deanna for the tongue tie release, we had it done. Within a couple of weeks it was like a new kid! He was making sounds we had never heard before. He was mimicking and babbling and trying to say things we had never heard from him. It was amazing! All because one person had the time to ask me about what we have been going through and having the patience to listen (plus being very knowledgeable and good at what she does). We will never be able to repay her for what she gave us, being able to hear your child say Mama and Dada is a gift unlike any other. Thank you Deanna we are eternally grateful.

Our daughter has been coming here for the past three years, prior to this, we would drive 45 minutes out to their Cinco Ranch location. They are wonderful, our daughter speech has significantly improved. She loves her teacher Ms. Kristen and looks forward to seeing each week. Highly recommend them.

I recommend SLC as the best place for speech therapy. They have a high standard programme and professionals who find a way to communicate with every child. As per our research, they are the best place for speech correction in Katy. My little daughter visits them once a week; it is incredible progress in development.

My son has been going to SLC for about a year now and sees Kristen L. We walked in with a confirmed ASD diagnosis right after my son's second birthday. He had about 4 words in his voluntary vocabulary, didn't point, had little eye contact and didn't call most of the family by name (though he parroted everything). In addition to not having much expressive language, it was clear to us he was just as behind on receptive language (understanding what WE said) as well. His third birthday is in two weeks and he's made huge progress. He calls everyone (including Kristen) by their names when he sees them. He not only has a ton of new single words, but he's stringing together phrases of 3 and 4 words on a fairly regular basis now. His eye contact is MUCH better. He will ask for what he wants, points and picks up new words as we teach them to him on a much easier basis now. And he LOVES going. He will quickly run to the door when asked if he wants to go and play with Kristen. We knew how important it was to choose a great speech therapist and a year later, I know we chose well. I highly recommend them!
