I guess if they get you through closing that is great. They are easy to pay. Good luck if you have a claim. They are not responsive at all, ignoring all communications. Would suggest you go somewhere else.

I wasn't pleased with this title company. I constantly had to check with title members about funding from buyers, they lost the earnest and security deposit. I had to get an extension to give them time to find the funds. They never answered the phone, I was only able to get through to them via email which was a bit frustrating because emails were not answered in a timely manner. During closing I had to check with title for commissions disbursements, when usually other title companies are already on it and send you wiring info. However, even after requesting this, they did not comply with the wiring instructions and sent out commissions via check to an unknown address. I had to reach out to them asking where they got that address and why they mailed a check instead of wiring as I had requested. To top it off, they told my buyers that they had forgotten to include some fees in the CD and they would need to pay that to officially close on the house. I don't believe this was to be ethical on their side, if they did miscalculate, we had postponed the closing a couple of days, they should have caught that. They should have also waived any fees after closing if the mistake was done on their behalf, which it was.

Sherry Baker was willing to explain/answer any question we had. Very patient as we had read through every page of documentation and had many questions. Very professional in her relationship with us. Returned phone calls promptly. Her assistant Jordan was also professional and willing to help us out. I would highly recommend them both. Sherry's office was transitioning from Western Title to Stewart Title throughout our relationship and there were no glitches that we saw. Thanks to all!.

Stewart Title Company was great to work with. Jolene was patient, professional, and personable. She thoroughly explained all the documents we signed and made helpful recommendations on the next steps we should take. We were referred by a friend who had a poor experience elsewhere and spoke highly of their experience with Stewart Tile. Highly recommended.
