Throughout the course of my career I have met escrow teams all over the state of Texas. MEKA DIXON AND HER TEAM have set the standard on closings. Today they expedited my closing in Richmond, Texas. They put out fires while keeping me calm and finessing the closing process for my buyers. Absolutely amazing team.
Meka Dixon did a wonderful job moving at warp speed on an 11 day Transaction with a 7 day Option Period. I didn't think any title company could get a transaction with those details to close that quickly but my client did not want to extend so she and her team jumped through what I'm guessing were rings of fire and got it done. I would highly recommend working with Meka and her Team. Thanks Meka!
I have done hundreds of transactions with this title company over the years and am a licensed broker. Any of the bad reviews I see on here reflect communication issues mostly involved with poor agent handling of their clients concerns prior to getting to the closing table. This title company is as thorough and communicative throughout the closing process as any I have ever dealt with. Two comments stand out especially. One about a person who says their mother was in a fraudulent transaction and they are frustrated that title was not willing to just trust their word (when they are no where on the contract) and the other is about commission discussions. BOTH of those instances are handled by the realtors and or buyers/sellers of the transaction. Title is only a facilitator. Texas Title is the best there is in that case. Highly Recommend Meka, Brenda and the team.
I had the worst experience with them. They did not do the correct title clearance for taxes After buying a house and filing for homestead, turns out that the house had $30000 in taxes that had not been paid from the previous years. Title insurance only paid $8000. I ended up paying $22,000 in this economy, so I don't lose the house. Will not go with them again.
had an outstanding experience with Texas Title thanks to Meka. She was incredibly patient and kind while walking me through their digital deposit system, Zoccam. Homebuying is stressful enough, but Meka broke everything down step-by-step, double-checked that my deposit went through, and never made me feel rushed. She answered every question clearly and followed up to make sure I was comfortable with the process. What could’ve been a headache turned into a smooth, confident moment because of her care and professionalism. Sometimes its the small things that matter most. If Texas Title continues to hire people like Meka, they’ll remain my first choice for title services. Five stars, easily!
